About this Event
The Social Action Committee will be holding an in-person members townhall for international students on Thursday, November 6 from 4.30pm to 7pm in the Members Hall at the UFCW 1518 head office in New Westminster. The focus of the event will be on highlighting the issues international students face as students and workers, what UFCW 1518 is doing to support international student members, and giving an opportunity for our local’s international student members to get to know each other and hear from each other. Light refreshments will be available. Limited capacity of 75 people. All international student members welcome.

The UFCW 1518 office is located on 350 Columbia St, New Westminster, BC V3L 1A6. We are a two minute walk from Columbia Skytrain station. Bus routes 102, 105, 109, 321, EL, and N19 all service stops near the UFCW 1518 office.
