Tell the cannabis industry: Let us tip our budtenders

Budtending is a skilled job which requires detailed knowledge and commitment. Customers value their advice and expertise. But many cannabis store employees make less than $20 an hour.

With tips, this can rise by between $3 and $7 per hour – but at the moment, many stores do not enable tipping on their card machines.

We’re calling on all cannabis stores to allow customers to tip their staff, and to pool these tips fairly. Add your name to tell the industry – we want to tip our budtenders!

These union cannabis stores already enable tips – and other stores should follow their lead:
